A lime green synthetic spinel set in a 14k gold ring. Synthetic spinels both look like and fluoresce green like uranium glass, but they are much more durable. They are a good choice for someone that wants a uranium glass ring but is hard on their jewelry. The ring is a size 7.25 and can be resized. It sets low on the finger so it is comfortable to wear. The ring is unmarked but tests as 14k. The highly faceted round cut spinel stone is eye-catching in natural light. I'm unsure of the exact age on the ring but my best estimate is 1970s or before. Your purchase comes with a keychain blacklight.
