    Description

    For your consideration, a 1930s coral orange octagon bakelite dress buckle.
    For your consideration, a great example of a dress buckle from the Art Deco period.  This is a two piece dress buckle sash.  It is octagon shaped with a graduated dimensionality.  It is coral orange swirl with some translucence.   A beautiful representation of geometry!
    Measuring 3 7/8" l x 2" t x 1/4" in thickness.  It has a metal mounted hook and brackets all in one closure which is sound.
    This items has been simichrome polish tested to verify that it is authentically bakelite.
    In nice vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
