    Description

20 Eucalyptus gamophylla (Blue Mallee) Silver Dollar Seeds | Bush Tree, Free Shipping
    Foliage color: Blue-Green, Shiny
    Grow Zones: 8-11
Other names: Blue Desert Mallee, Warilu, Twin-leaved Mallee
Seed Size: Smaller but not tiny (they look like paper flakes)
These gamophylla seeds grow into large shrubs of blue silver dollar leaved stems that value high for their foliage uses. Not only are they pleasing to the eye but they lend to florist arrangements, all kinds of crafts and most valuable of all is their use as a medicinal. They cleanse the air (air purifying) and clear out lungs. Their height ranges from 4-10 ft tall. Height can be controlled with pruning.
They grow quite fast after germinating. This is a great thing if you are wanting to clip the foliage to use often. Pro Tip: Clip the foliage at an angle. Plant Eucalyptus gamophylla in full or partial sun. This variety thrives in a variety of soil types, including clay, and can be grown indoors by a sunny window.
Germination Procedure: Seeds sprout in cooler temperatures (around 75 degrees). Sow seeds 1/8 an inch into the soil (basically, place them on the surface and lightly cover the seeds by sprinkling a little soil over the top). Keep the seeds and soil moist throughout the germination phase (10-45 days).
