    5th Friendship Jamborette held March 27-29, 1981 at Camp Kinzer Okinawa, Japan for Okinawa District, FAR EAST COUNCIL, BSA & Okinawa Council, Boy Scouts of Nippon (BSN)
    Joint event with Boys Scout of America and Boys Scout of Nippon.
    HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: The Jamborette was established to commemorate the transfer of Okinawan Boy Scouts to Boy Scouts of Nippon (BSN) in 1972.
    Prior to that time, the Okinawan Boy Scouts were part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).
    The first Jamborette was held in 1973.
