    Description

    Antique early 1800’s, 19th Century, Brass Fireplace Pedestal or Trivet. Beautiful designs in brass border with punched eyelets, lace- like with geometric shapes. Top sits approximately 10” off the floor. Brass top is approximately 8” x 8”. I have never polished it because I like the antique patina. There are some dings in the base ( shown in photo). The underbelly structure is interesting ( photo). It has been in my family for more than 80 years.
