Antique Miniature Bottle - Figural Blown Glass Cat - Edwardian Era
This is a lovely Edwardian era miniature figural blown glass perfume bottle in the shape of a cat. The top is hand painted with the cat face and gold bow around the neck. The bottle's neck is also painted gold. It is 2 inches tall and in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is not really any wear to the paint, you can see everything in the photos that show this charming little bottle from every angle. There is no stopper and the bottom has a smooth/polished pontil. The top is open and would have been sent that way to the perfumery, who would seal it after it was filled. Once the person receiving the perfume finished the contents, a spring wire cap/hanger could be inserted so that it could be used as a Christmas tree ornament.
