Item Description
The Finest Filters new and improved range of external canister filters can easily be connected to aquariums up to 500 litres in size (depending on model), and are suitable for all water types, including coldwater, tropical freshwater and saltwater (marine) aquariums. These canister filters are availbale in a choice of 3 flow rates to suit a range of aquarium sizes.
The filters are available in three sizes - 1000 litres per hour flow rate for aquariums up to 400 litres, 1400 litres per hour flow rate for aquariums up to 600 litres, and 2000 litres per hour for aquariums up to 1000 litres in size. All three models are available with or without a UV steriliser built into the unit. The UV steriliser part of this filter is used to control infections by stopping the spread of microorganisms from one fish/coral/invertebrate to another through the water. It is also used to control free floating algae. When operated correctly, free floating microorganisms will be killed by the UV light.
The UV steriliser has a seperate switch, so can be turned off if required, whilst keeping the main filter motor running.
This newest model boasts many important upgrades, including an easier priming system and a stronger, more durable filter design, and e
ach filter comes complete with all neccessary pipework and filter media for setup. Full instructions are provided with each filter to allow easy setup. The filter media supplied includes bio balls, ceramic rings and filter floss, for a range of mecanical and biological filtration to provide crystal clear, healthy water in your aquarium. Due to the nature of external filters, filter media and filter media layout can easily be customised to suit the particular aquarists requirements.
Please note: these no longer come with a surface skimmer attachment.
Filter maintenance is completed easily - after isolating the power to the filter, the pipes can easily be disconnected using the drip-free shut off valve. The filter can the be transported to an appropriate area for cleaning and maintenance.

All of our items are in stock in our UK based warehouse for immediate dispatch. Orders placed before 3pm are shipped on the same day. Please note, we do not dispatch items on Saturdays. We offer free delivery by Royal Mail 48 on all items available for sale in our eBay shop. Our free post option usual takes around 2-3 days to arrive with Royal Mail. We also offer a 1st class postage option, which is usually a next day service if your order is placed before 3pm. If a next day guaranteed service is required, Royal Mail Special Delivery can also be selected at the checkout, and this will ensure the item arrives the next day before 1pm. If required, these postage upgrades can be selected at the checkout stage.

We hope you will be extremely pleased with your purchase from us, however, if you are unsatisfied or change your mind about a purchase, we have a 'no questions asked' returns policy. All customers are entitled to a refund of the item amount paid minus actual postage costs. We do, however require all products to be returned to us within 60 days, at the customers cost. Please ensure an appropriate level of compensation insures the item whilst in transit, as we can't accept liability for losses of returns in the post. Once we receive the item back in its original condition, We will then refund the item amount minus our postage cost paid. For change of mind returns, we ask that items are returned in their original condition and packaging to allow them to be resold.
