In 1975 Timber Trails Council #275 merged with Grand Valley Council #266 to become West Michigan Shores Council #266. Then in 1995 they changed their name to GERALD R. FORD Council #266. Timber Trails became a district in the new council until recently; they re-districted to Père Marquette District
