    Description

**These seeds do need 30 days of cold stratification in the refrigerator before planting**
Butterfly milkweed is cold hardy and does well in poor, dry soil. It is brightly orange colored and is an important nectar source for Monarch butterflies.  They are perennial so the plant will die back for the winter but the rootstock remains alive and will regrow in the spring.  It does take this plant a while to become established taking up to three years before it blooms.
    Days to germinate: 10-14 days
    Growing height: 2 feet
My seeds are always shipped fresh so germination rate will be high.
If you purchase more than one item from me, please make one combined payment. I always mail out my packages within 24 hours of purchase.  If for some reason you do not get yours within a reasonable amount of time, (USPS is notorious for being SLOW or occasionally losing a package here and there) please let me know before opening a buyer request with ebay for item not received.   I promise you I will take care of it. I have been selling on ebay for more than 20 years so I have a very efficient process.  I always take care of my buyers so don't worry. Thanks! Michele-Spring Hill Gardens.
I mail my packages out USPS every day except Sunday and holidays.
I put tracking on orders over .00.
I do not offer global shipping. Sorry:(
