Seller's Lot consists of a RARE SIGNED IMPERFORATE pane of four(4) stamps(.00 value) entitled DUCKS UNLIMITED CANADA FIRST ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL WATERFOWL CELEBRATION dating to May 1 & 2, 1993. DU Canada produced a 'duck' stamp to be used as admission verification 'badges'. A very small number of these panes of four(4) that were printed for the event were IMPERFORATE and even fewer were signed by the artist, ANGUS SHORTT. This individual pane is indeed very a RARE BIRD. The pane is VFNH and is accompanied by its original folder. The original painting by Shortt is entitled 'Canada Geese over Oak Hammock'. Note: Although considered a cinderella these stamps did serve a real purpose validating admission tickets to the two(2) day festival. Please note that you as the buyer will receive LIMITED EDITION Sheet Number 1124.
