The VXA Drive can be used for program distribution, data migration, data interchange, it can save and restore data between disk storage and tape. The Tape Drive is FAST, its a 8mm streaming type packet drive that attaches externally to the many family's of workstations and servers. It can provide a capacity of up to 66GB storage capacity per cartridge.
This VXA tape drive model provides many benefits, the tape storage cartridges are easy to find, they are more reliable and last longer than MP tapes. The Drive is easy to install and it has greater than 250,000 hours mean time between failures, that is awesome reliability.
