Installation
1.
Never squeeze pad like rag !!!
2.
Install directly. No need to rinse a new pad.
3.
Flip & scrub the dirty side in slow running tap water.

Filter Clogging
(Best solution: Cultured gravel, not sand)

Substrate can keep waste/uneaten food at tank bottom
(no dusting from constant disturbance by fish or filter).
2.
The best place for beneficial bacteria to reside & thrive.

A big bag of pebble costs ± (homedepot/walmart).
Cloudy Tank
1.
Over Feeding: Feed once or twice per day only.
Food to be finished by fish in 2 minutes, no leftover.
2.
Over Stocking: 1 tropical fish per 1 gallon of water, or
1 goldfish per 3 gallons of water.
3.
Over Lighting: 6 - 8 hours is sufficient (over ? fungus).
4.
New Tank Syndrome: Change water monthly (25%).
5.
Don't empty tank: It's unharmful. Will disappear in days.
6.
Some chemicals: Can speed up the clearing process.
Foamy Bubbles
1.
Water Imbalance: Bring in beneficial (nitrifying) bacteria
from established tank ("tank cycle" may take a month).
2.
Clean gravel thoroughly, feed less, raise water level.
3.
Avoid: Ich medications, pH corrector, or clarity product.
4.
Treatment: Aquarium salt, water conditioner, quick cure.
