    Propagation
    .
Seed - sow early spring in a greenhouse. Germination is usually quick. Prick out the seedlings into individual pots when they are large enough to handle and grow them on in the greenhouse for their first year. Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer. Some reports say that the seed can be sown in situ outside and that it gives a good rate of germination. Cuttings of half-ripe wood, July/August in a frame.  Cuttings of mature wood, early autumn in a frame. Layering in mid-summer to early autumn.
    .
    Habitats
Woodland garden sunny edge or as a hedge.

    READ PLEASE:
Orders purchased will be shipped economy shipping which does not include tracking and there is no insurance. Seller cannot guarantee that US Post Office will deliver package when economy shipping service is selected. The US Post Office has on occasion lost shipments, but this rarely occurs. This is done to keep seed costs to the buyer low. There is no refund available when economic shipping is used unless item received does not match the item being sold and advertised or item is damaged, and seller can provide sufficient evidence of the US Post Office mishandling. Buyers can select Standard Shipping (USPS First Class Package) which includes tracking and insurance that guarantees the shipment and potential loss of the item. Our goal is to save you money on quality seeds. I am a responsible seller and I make sure buyers are well taken care of. Item is shipped within 2 business days after payment is received. All my listings include germination and growing instructions. I am not responsible for buyer germination success. Seed count is approximate and when packaged will exceed the number of seeds offered. Seeds will vary in size and weight but be assured that the seed count will be exactly plus more when shipped.
