Variable Cartridge Loading allows you to match cartridge output and damping level to take advantage of system performance and helps alleviate preamplifier overloading.
High cartridge Loading/Damping during the day (Knob@10AM - 11AM).
Evenings/weekends less Loading (Knob@1pm- 3pm) opens up the sound stage, allows higher dynamics and head room.
Higher performance than our typical Shure transformers with a 50,000 ohm secondary.
