Note: The “J” in MG-44J and ST-44J is absolutely required to make this match. This stylus is not the same/does not work with the MG-44 cartridge (without the J) or ST-44D stylus. If you have a cartridge marked MG-44J or a stylus marked ST-44J, then this is your stylus.
Some sellers on eBay come up with low prices on the actual product, but charge
outrageous
prices for shipping! You end up paying a lot more that way!
Do not get tricked into this!
What is for sale, here is
One (1) Brand New, High Quality Generic Replacement Stylus with proper alignment,
Artistic Audio
Part Number
LBA-D6C.
With Styluses, alignment is critical! Proper alignment of the tip of the stylus is one of the largest factors to sound quality and preserving your records! The average replacement stylus is enough to make sound when it plays, but
they are cranking out so many of these cheapies per hour that they are just thrown together. If the alignment is off a couple of percent, who cares? Certainly not the people making the styluses. They should throw those away and sell the ones where the tips are mounted properly, even if it costs them a little more! This is one (1) single generic stylus that is much better quality that those competitors who are selling styluses like this for around .00. This Stylus Features Excellent Alignment, something you can not say for the ten buck brand. The original Fisher/Sanyo cartridges were OEMed (OK, I made up a word... OEMed is the past tense of OEM. OEM is Overseas Electronics Manufacturer, meaning, in this case, that these were sold to AIWA, Denon, Hitachi, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sharp, Sony, and some other brands including Sanyo and Fisher) by Audio-Technica.
In 1975 Sanyo Electronics bought Fisher from Emerson, Fisher’s parent company at that time. Sanyo marketed Fisher as mid-to-high end electronics while the Sanyo brand was used for entry-level equipment.
The original Fisher and Sanyo cartridge model number is
MG-44J
, the original Pioneer Stylus Number is
ST-44J
. These
Artistic Audio
styluses can be (and are regularly) sold for a lot more money! They rival the performance of the original Audio-Technica styluses at a fraction of the cost, only because I am offering an extreme discount. I am doing this to build sales, get new customers, and establish a reputation on eBay as someone who is honnest, fair, and has a great deal on high quality products! And it is working! I am already ahead of my sales projections!
The LBA-D6C has a List Price of
.00.
As a promotion, to get firmly established on eBay as an honest dealer with great prices, I purchased over 100
styluses of various types from Artistic Audio. I really want
YOU
as a customer, so I am using these styluses as promotional items, so I am offering these to you at a great discount and covering the shipping/handling myself. When I reach targeted sales points I will be more established on eBay and have a great reputation. At that point, this great price will slowly increase.
This Sanyo and Fisher
MG-44J
Cartridge was pre-packaged in many models of Fisher and Sanyo turntables, HOWEVER, these are not the
only
Sanyo and Fisher cartridge that came with turntables. Some of
Sanyo and Fisher
turntable models were sold to
Sanyo and Fisher
dealers
without a cartridge at all!
In those cases, the customer used their own cartridge, or the dealer would have supplied a cartridge to the customer. Does your
old stylus
look like this one? If not, send me a picture in your message (Ask Seller a Question link, lower left of this page) of your stylus and/or cartridge. I have over 1,000 styluses, I probably already have the one you need. Check the number on your cartridge... Match the cartridge number up with the numbers in this listing, or message me the numbers you find!
