    Description

    This vintage Horse Brass medallion's design features a girl or woman in a ruffled Victorian dress and bonnet.  There is a name engraved at the bottom, but I can't quite make out the name.  The horse brass is approximately 3 inches in diameter.  The back is unmarked.    Horse brass plaques were used for decoration of horse harness gear.  In early times, horse brass emblems were thought to ward off evil spirits.
