While it is my understanding that the drive is designed to work in a specific library, I have put together a guide to setting this up so it works as a standalone drive for a Windows 10 computer, based on years gaining experience getting these drives working without a library.  Nothing beats tape for reliability and large storage space and it's great you can get these drives for 90% off their original price because they are a few generations behind.  It is not easy to figure out on your own and involved a lot of trial and error.  If you purchase the drive and some of the LTO5 tapes I would be happy to provide this to you, after the items ship, on an "as is, follow at your own risk, may cause data loss and property destruction" basis.  Please note that for this kind of setup you would need to be technically minded and creative, and my guide offers no guarantees that this drive will work in your setup.  Of course this is completely reversible and the drive ships in its exact original configuration.
