    Description

These are 2 month old, naturally grown, fully hardened off Sorrel, (Hibiscus) plants.  They are field ready and can be planted upon receipt.  Shipping is by USPS priority mail and should be delivered within 3 to 4 business days.  I sold many of these last year and did not have any complaints about shipping.  I did get a few complaints about a few broken plants so I make it a policy of including a few extras.  This is the second batch for the year and are superior to the previous batch.  These plants are very hardy and have a high recovery rate so do not be too worried if they appear a bit tired looking upon receipt.  It is best to plant them right away, in sunny areas, and water them only as needed.  These plants grow in even poor soils, not that I encourage you to use poor soils.  If you are not blessed with a fertile soil, please consider some form of natural or artificial fertilization. This is the dark red variety (see picture).  You may also harvest the fresh tangy leaves for salads.  I use mine strictly for teas and juices.  The teas in the picture were made from the fruits of the same plants in the picture which were grown in my home garden.  The tea was blended with ginger which in my opinion gives it an even more adorable flavor.  Shipping is free!! Happy growing!
