Description

I will be listing dolls from Mattel’s Barbie Loves Lucy collection that came to an end in 2011. Their collection celebrated the timeless television series I Love Lucy. This is a lovely set of dolls from Mattel. I feel this Barbie Collector duo is a treasure for collectors of Lucille Ball Barbies, or any dolls! Mattel artists have captured the images of Lucy and Ethel, together as they should be. The label on the 2008 box shows beside the show logo: Starring Lucille Ball & Vivian Vance as Lucy Ricardo & Ethel Mertz. This represents 'Job Switching' episode 39. Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance brought the world such joy when they were the two zany characters. This pair of dolls is a great keepsake of those memories. Both have lovely smiles, and ‘real’ lashes, and are both donned in Barbie's signature color. The box has a small window with a heart logo surrounding it. Originally, the button inside could be pressed; then clips from the original tv soundtrack were played. This is not working now, but a battery-replacement may take care of that, if possible. It is being sold 'as is'. These dolls have never been removed from the box so are in mint condition. The box is in excellent condition as well.  Doll stands are included. ~~~ Hopefully the pictures will do them justice. They may be ideal for a collector to display. The box label recommends this for someone age 14 and older. ~~ Please see my other auction items. Buyer to pay all shipping & handling costs, but shipping may be combined (for destinations in the U.S. and Canada only). International bidders will be responsible for separate shipping costs for each item purchased. ~~ My combined shipping policy is this: I weigh the entire package after you have finished bidding over a week's time (unless we agree ahead of time to a different time-frame). I estimate the shipping fee based on that weight and your zip code, using the USPS website. I add a handling fee for the first item. That fee is already included in the amount shown on the item description’s shipping calculator. It covers the costs for packaging, printing, and gasoline. Delivery confirmation is covered at no extra cost. I charge handling for each additional item. I ship using USPS Priority Mail, both locally and to Canada. Feel free to message me for an estimate if you are considering bidding on multiple items, or if you have any questions. Please be sure to request a combined-shipping invoice if you win multiple items from me. Also, if you are a return customer, remind me and I may be able to reduce the handling fees. Thank you for looking.
