MAYERS FLORA PERFUME LAB FOR MAKING YOUR OWN SCENTS
This is a vintage kit that is used to make perfume or your own scents by breaking own oils and extracting them from various types of flowers.
Example of how it works: For Rose scented oil you cut the Roses from the stem and place the peddles as well as the buds in the jar and add your fat/oil. Coconut oil is a good oil that can be used in this process. Boil a pot of water and place the jar containing your mixture of Coconut Oil and Parts of the Rose inside the boiling pot of water. While being heated the Coconut oil will help in extracting the natural rose oil from the Rose parts. While hot carefully pull the jar from the boiling pot of water and mix the contents with a wooden stick, this will help further break down the Rose Particles. Let the jar sit for a day or so and cool with the Coconut Rose mixture inside it to further allow the breakdown process/ You can place the jar in the fridge after it cools down to help with this process as well. For the next step you can place the jar with its contents inside a pot of boiling water once again, This time place the cork lid on top of the jar and attach the copper worm to the hole in the lid securely, make sure the copper worm is on its stand and place a smaller jar at the end of the copper pipe. The compound that you have created will heat up and rise to be pushed threw the copper worm. Once the fluid is pushed threw the copper worm it will be refined. Allow your small jar of Liquid to cool down. Once it is cooled down it can be ready for use.
This kit is fairly simple but effective in making all types of natural oils that can be used for soaps, candle making, body oil, perfume scents, medical rubs of all sorts.
Please do your research before deciding what to make as this is more of an art then a process
Also my instructions are how i have used this kit to make oils, so the directions that come with the kit may be different.
I use Coconut oil because it is a very clean oil that has almost no scent. For medical rubs you can use a more beneficial oil if you wish but Coconut oil is perfect for a cooling mint oil Rub as well.
