Myrtlewood Audio isolation platform

As far as I know, no one else has ever made large platforms out of Oregon myrtlewood.  They were one of my resonance control products I sold when I had my site up and myrtlewood shop open. I still have some myrtle- burl/brass turntable weights and clamps I will list soon.
Not only are they unique, they are beautiful to behold as some of the prettiest hardwood in the world. The resonance dampening of air-dried myrtlewood is outstanding. This one is made from 3" stock as all my products were. It finished out after sanding finishing at 2 5/8" thick, 18 3/4 long by 15 1/8" deep. Oil and wax finish. One of the center bolts has some very rare bug work. Bugs usually never bother myrtle because of the strong oil. I doubt if it will disappear before you do.
