Old Genuine Chinese Jadeite Emerald Jade Carved Pendant Netsuke. Designed with a monkey on chayote on one surface, and ruyi images on the other surface. Chayote,
fo shou ga
, is harmonious with the "Buddha's hand" which is auspicious to prevent all evil things. Ruyi means "everything goes smooth." Very auspicious motif. The carving is simple but unique and exquisite. The craftmanship is very elegant as you can see from the pix. Nice glossy polish. The condition is old but very good. It will be a good gift as well as a cute collection.
