Atriplex hortensis), also known as French Spinach or Mountain Spinach, origins from Egypt and is an excellent
substitute
for spinach, taking away the bitterness and replacing with a savory taste. This beautiful plant is an excellent cool season crop, and will grow to be 4"-8" tall producing ruby/wine colored leaves that are best harvested at 1" unless steaming. Slow to bolt
