10 FRESH SEEDS OF PUERTO RICAN PARCHA, PASSIFLORA EDULIS
    .
    In
    Puerto Rico
    the fruit is known as
    "parcha,"
and we use it in juices, ice creams and pastry.
    VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Passion fruit seeds are often slow to germinate and have low germination rates due to seed dormancy factors. Seeds will germinate in two to three weeks if planted soon after removal from the fruit. Seeds show a slower and lower germination rate when they are stored for long periods. Passion fruit harvest is from July to November in Puerto Rico. The seeds I am selling are from last harvest. Pre-germination treatments such as soaking in water, scarification (abrading) with sandpaper, and fermentation for a few days can improve germination rate.

    Note:
Successful plant and seed growing depend on multiple factors: climate, soil, light, heat, water, humidity and fertilizers. I will add to this equation the fight against insects, viruses, and fungi. I won't take responsibility for errors in your planting abilities.
