Quantum LTO-5 HH 5.25" Internal Bare Drive (6 GB/s SAS, Black). This drive is as pictured above and does not include a chassis or external case.
The front plate is intact on this unit, but the LTO door has been removed.
The interface is internal 6gb SAS.
Warranty info: If this LTO drive fails you within 60 days of receipt (based on tracking info), contact me and I will arrange a replacement with a similar drive at my expense.
The drive has tested ok, but due to the number of mechanical parts in an LTO drive, it is possible that you would experience a problem after it has been shipped to you. I hope this will help you buy with confidence.

The drive will arrive in antistatic packaging. Please take care when installing it in your system. LTO drives can be finicky sometimes.

With the implementation of Linear Tape File System (LFTS) software, users can now drag-and-drop files to the LTO-5 HH 5.25" Internal Bare Drive (6 GB/s SAS, Black) from Quantum. In addition to streamlining the backup process, this drive supports LTO technology to store large amounts of data on a single cartridge. Once the data is stored it is secured using 256-bit AES encryption to ensure important files such as medical records, financial data, and other files remain safe and secure. Along with enhanced encryption functionality, this drive features WORM (write once, read many) technology to prevent the data on the drive from being erased.
