Description

HERE IS A PLASTIC "BOX" OF VINTAGE NEEDLES, POSSIBLY INDUSTRIAL - MOST OR ALL OF 100 NEEDLES IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
The needles featured in this auction come from a huge lot of vintage sewing machine items, mostly needles, all brands, including Singer.  In this lot  is a "box" of vintage needles, TOP brand, made in W. Germany.  The clear plastic inner "box" bottom slides into a plastic "sleeve" to form the box.  The sleeve is stamped with a
red symbol
enclosing the word TOP, which I believe is the brand.  Also stamped here is a picture of a needle, and the words "100 super polished chromium plated needles Made in W. Germany."  A paper insert in the bottom section is stamped "CHROME FINISHED" on one end, and "81X5" (probably the style) and "160-23" (probably size) on the other end.
The box appears to be very full, though I didn't remove the needles and count them so I can't say whether all 100 needles are here.  From what i could see, the needles look to be in good to very
good used
condition, though I have no idea how old they may actually be.  I also have no idea which machines these needles may fit.  The plastic box and sleeve have some light soiling, but no damage that I could see - it's very sturdy, and the box section slides easily in and out of the sleeve.  I'm hoping someone will be able to use these so that they don't go to waste.
