For sale is an SME 3009 Tonearm that was rebuilt from the ground up with selected individual parts.
The Tonearm base is taken from the SME 3009 III and equipped with cinch inputs.
- Grace headshell with Yamamoto lead wire. - Tags are 24k gold plated and manually assembled. Inner diameter suitable for1.2 ? 1.2 mm pins. - New polished bronce knife edge bearing. - And now the best, the Dynamic Control. It enables precise adjustment from a small to a large needle pressure up to absolute precision. Needle pressure is about 8g. The adjuster is just superb. It gives a significant improvement. The amount of information, resolution and elasticity is enormous in the low range. The distortions are 0. The dynamic balance is an absolute MUST! It upgrades the tonearm to lighter dimensions. - The tonearm weights are custom-made from a special bell-bronze casting. Sonically fantastic. The weights are from light to SPU. Original weights can also be supplied on request.
