HOW TO GROW STATICE SEEDS
WHEN TO PLANT STATICE SEEDS
Direct Sow Statice seeds outdoors after the threat of frost has passed in the Spring. Statice seeds can also be started indoors 8-10 weeks before the final frost date.
WHERE TO PLANT STATICE SEEDS
Choose an area with Full Sun exposure to get your Statice plants to thrive. This variety does best in average, well-drained, loamy soil - if your planting area is heavy clay, you'll either need to do significant amendment,or consider growing Statice in containers.
HOW TO PLANT STATICE SEEDS
Sow Statice seeds directly onto the surface of the soil, and compress firmly. Do not cover the seeds, as they require sunlight in order to germinate. Seedlings will sprout in 21-30 days.

OW TO CARE FOR STATICE
Once seedlings are approximately 2 inches tall, thin to 1 plant every 18 inches. Once established, Statice needs little watering or care, and is drought-resistant. If Statice stalks begin to droop, support, such as a grow-through ring, can help stabilize them. Once they die back fro the Fall frost, remove your Statice from the growing area.
