Description

Swiss chard is very popular in a lot of mediterranean dishes.  Use the small, tender leaves and stalks for salads and the bigger, more mature leaves and stalks for sauteing, stir frys and soups.
This heirloom variety has dark green thick, tender leaves.  You will get heavy yields from late spring until winter.  Heavy yielding even in hot weather.
Plant in early spring after danger of frost has passed.
Plant height 22-27".
Germination occurs in approx 7-10 days
Harvest in 30-60 days.
My seeds are always shipped fresh so germination rate will be high.
