About Beaumont Ridge Iris:
We grow our stock in the fertile Columbia Basin of NE Oregon.  We've been raising Tall Bearded Iris for nearly 50 yrs and have an extensive collection of newer cultivars we'd like to share with you.  Our rich alluvial soil results in large rhizomes with abundant increase.
About This Listing:
This is a
pre-season clearance auction.
This means that the buyer can bid on and reserve varieties from our inventory for shipping at auctions conclusion.  We do not offer immediate or expedited shipping for our iris listings.  Unfortunately, Ebay doesn't have a shipping option to allow for this. You will be bidding on 1 healthy rhizome.
What you'll recieve from us:
You will receive 1 top notch, trimmed,
TRUE TO NAME
rhizome from your successful bid(s).  Our stock will be thoroughly washed, clean and sanitized with a pre-planting fungicidal dip.  Each
plant will have a laminated laser printed color tag on it for easy identification.  We are the only iris grower in the U.S, beside Schreiners, that color labels our iris stock.  We take great pride in the quality of our stock.  Every package will have an invoice and cultural instructions included in the box.
Bonus Iris:
We love to spoil our customers and as a thank-you, we are generous with bonus iris in each order.  Your suggestions are welcome, but bonus stock is our choice only and subject to availability.
General Shipping Policies:
We follow the recommended cultural practices of the
American Iris Society
in shipping our stock beginning in early July thru September. Iris need at least 6-8 weeks of development after blooming for the rhizomes to mature.  Shipping during semi dormancy (July-Sept) yields the best results for the gardener.  Those in more northern areas can request our earliest possible shipping dates which will
start the first week of July
and continue until the first week of September.  Shipping start times are non negotiable.  If you would like your shipments earlier than what we can provide, please respectfully consider another vendor for your bids/purchases.  The ebay handling time is for the processing and preparation for our stock prior to shipping in July.  It is
NOT
a shipping time frame guarantee.
Shipping Rates:
We ship via
Priority Mail
in all but the largest orders.  Sending our large rhizomes is very expensive and we've found that the best way for most customers is thru Priority Mail.  There will be a
flat rate of .00 plus .00 per each
additional
rhizome won
.  We
DO NOT
make any money on shipping and the customer is
not charged
for the preparation and handling of our stock.  The shipping costs are strictly to cover the costs of the U.S Postal Service transit fees for Priority Mail packages.  For larger auction wins, we will select the best cost effective method of shipping to your locale whether it be UPS ground, or in some instances Fed-Ex.
Shipping is to the Continental United States only
.  Due to the huge expense of quarantining and shipping procedures, we do not ship to foreign countries.
Payment policies:
We kindly ask that our customers remit payment of generated invoices at the time they are sent, or up to 7 days after the invoice is sent.  Prompt payment ensures that your item will be taken our of inventory and reserved for you, as we have many retail customers across the country who do not use ebay to purchase iris from us.  If there is to be an unexpected delay,
PLEASE
communicate with us and lets discuss it.  We are reasonable and will do our best to please you, as long as the delay isn't too lengthy.
Invoicing and combined shipping:
We ask that our customers wait to be invoiced before remitting payment. We cannot refund overpaid shipping costs.  We gladly combine shipping costs for repeat customers.   Invoices are sent promptly to you at the conclusion of each auction, or every 7 days if you are bidding on relisted items.  We are diligent in making sure that previous successful bidders are given combined shipping to save costs.
