VTG Brass Two Wild Horses Running Statue, Equine Shelf Display Doorstop

A beautiful vintage brass statue of horses running, medium to large size and has a beautiful patina. Conjures images if wild stallions or mustangs. The brass has a sheen that almost  ripples in certain light. Horses are great symbolic gifts, as they represent strength and freedom, as wild horses at one time roamed every continent on the planet. They were domesticated and became a tool in human civilization, both as work horses and war horses. But even as horses now have centuries of domestication, they still represent movement, freedom without restraint, and power.
The horse statue measures about 14 across from the tail of one horse to the hoof of the other. It is 9” tall and 4-1/2" deep. There are a couple of stubborn tarnish spots, and I am certain it will look good polished--it is unlacquered--although the patina is truly lovely, and if it were mine to keep, I'd probably not polish it. A couple of spots where the brass has either white or green tarnish, although not too much. Weighs a little over four pounds unpacked.
