Vintage WEBCOR WFX239 Solid State AM/FM Stereo 8 System Garrard Turntable Combo Unit w/Factory Speakers Cleaned/
TESTED/Works Wisth Issues
Look Closely at the Photos and Read the Description Carefully.
This combo unit has been used, stored and is still in good condition overall with a few issues.
It appears to have been sitting more than it has been used, it shows some scuffs, scratches and marks, but nothing major, it does not show any damage beyond cosmetic.
It has been tested, the manual part of the turn table works great without any issues, it plays and sounds great, the automatic function either needs servicing or I just don’t know how to use it, when the selector is pushed to auto is springs back to manual.
The tuner works well without issue, the previous owner made 3 sharpie marks on it to marks their favorite stations…

he 8-Track player works intermittently, the tape will play then stop then play again once jiggled, the head has been lubed where it sides up and down to read the tracks, it works better now but still not perfect, mostly some parts are gummy from decades of sitting.
Like any vintage stereo unit, the more it's used, the better it will continue to work, keeping the mechanical parts moving.
Complete with the factory speakers.
Built in the USA with Japanese components and British made turn table.
