    Description

    Yellow Potato Onion, seeds or bulbs.
    Potato onions (also known as multiplier onion) are a variety of Allium similar to a shallot but producing larger bulbs. They are typically grown from the bulbs but can also be grown from seed. Plant bulbs either in the fall or in the spring and in mid summer harvest a whole clump of onions from each bulb planted. I find them to be easy to grow and harvest and produce very reliably. I've been growing this unknown variety of yellow mulitplier onion organically on my Kansas farm for a number of years. They can produce bulbs 3" in diameter and store well in a dark dry location.
